Title IX Watch
The Title IX regulation refers to a federal law in the United States that addresses sex discrimination in educational institutions that receive federal funding. However, there were some significant changes made to the Title IX regulations under the Trump administration in 2020. These changes aimed to modify the way schools handle allegations of sexual misconduct.

Under the revised regulations, institutions were required to respond to formal complaints of sexual harassment, including sexual assault, with specific procedures designed to ensure fairness for both the complainant and the accused. Some key provisions included defining sexual harassment more narrowly, giving schools more discretion in investigating incidents that occurred outside their programs or activities, requiring live hearings with cross-examination, and narrowing the definition of schools' responsibility to address off-campus incidents.
It's important to note that these regulations are subject to change, and new updates may have been implemented since my last knowledge update in September 2021. I recommend checking the official U.S. Department of Education website or consulting legal resources to obtain the most up-to-date information on the Title IX regulations.
